This website gives an overview of my masters project, which is an investigation into the network properties of neurons.

Some background to this area of research is provided in the introduction, along with details of previous work which has been undertaken. The report analyses the dynamics of a single neuron, two coupled neurons and progressively larger and more complex schemes. The technical work for this project was undertaken in MATALB and a number of the files written are avaliable to download from this site. Links to further reading on the subject, along with a detailed bibliography, can also be found.

This project was undertaken in support of the degree of Master of Engineering at the department of Engineering Mathematics, University of Bristol. The project was supervised and supported by Dr John Terry.
